Pastor Bubba was called into ministry at the age of 16. When he graduated high school in 1998, he transitioned from a youth student at Des Allemands Mennonite Church to a youth leader. During his time in youth ministry there, the Lord gave him a vision of breaking down denominational walls as he began working with youth who were Mennonite, Baptist, Catholic, and Assembly of God. This is what eventually led him to being ordained as an Assemblies of God pastor. He and his wife, Stephanie, have been married since 2007. They also have two teens, Ava and Max.
