Meet The Team
Bubba & Stephanie Warren
Pastor Bubba was called into ministry at the age of 16. When he graduated high school in 1998, he transitioned from a youth student at Des Allemands Mennonite Church to a youth leader. During his time in youth ministry there, the Lord gave him a vision of breaking down denominational walls as he began working with youth who were Mennonite, Baptist, Catholic, and Assembly of God. This is what eventually led him to being ordained as an Assemblies of God pastor. Him and his wife, Stephanie, have been married since 2007. They also have two beautiful children, Ava and Max.
Originally from South Louisiana, Brenda has served in a variety of ministries for the past 26 years. As an Ordained Minister, her passion is to help people identify, define, and walk out their God-calling. She considers it an honor and privilege to encourage and equip the Church to fulfill the Great Commission. Brenda and her husband, Jonathan, have been married for 17 years and have 5 beautiful children.
Morgan has dedicated his life to equipping believers to walk in their calling by serving the local body and continued education. He graduated from Texas Bible Institute in 2008, attained an A.A.S. in Business Administration and an A.A. in Music Performance in 2010. Morgan enjoys long walks in the park while playing disc golf.
The son of an ordained minister and a school counselor, children's ministry has been a lifelong passion for Seven. Hailing from Colorado, he headed South and studied ministry and discipleship for two years at Crossroads Leadership College in Lafayette before interning in children's ministry at Crossroads Church. Whether it's puppets, skits, or balloon animals, Seven loves to see kids encounter Jesus in creative new ways. Don't hold it against us, but he is also a diehard Colorado sports fan.
David & Emily friis
David and Emily have pursued their walk with Christ from a young age and know the struggles teens face when trying to maintain that walk. David first truly experienced God as a teen attending a local Baptist Church youth ministry. Emily began delving into her faith and experience with the Holy Spirit as a teen at a United Pentecostal Church. Together, they sought God for direction moving forward and were led to Connect Church where they have served as youth pastors since October 2021. They demonstrate deep personal connections with our students that exceed expectations. David currently works in construction and Emily is a social worker who assists those in overcoming addiction.
